Welcome To The Star Inn
This traditional 18th Century Inn is ideally located in the Hamlet of Star in glorious Somerset. The surrounding countryside is part of the famous Mendip Hills area of outstanding natural beauty and is favoured by many cyclists, ramblers and dog walkers - the pick of the trails being Shipham and Dolebury Warren.
We're a traditional country pub and restaurant with original timber beams and a large Inglenook fire. We have a large beautiful garden and parking for over 40 vehicles.
The Star Inn is a true destination pub serving great food and sunday lunch, real ales and local ciders. We believe in taste, style and time well spent with friends and loved ones.

We pride ourselves on serving up our own twist on traditional pub favourites. Our menus are heavily influenced by the seasons and depend on availablility of the freshest produce. We use local ingredients where possible, supporting local growers and businesses.
